Wheel of Fitness

Every fitness goal falls into one or more of the following categories. Weight loss,
sculpt/ tone, function/health (e.g. lowering blood pressure, easing low back pain...) and performance (e.g. preparing for a marathon). A common mistake people make is only focusing on one of the four categories. Every fitness program needs to incude aspects from each area.

In order to achieve any of the above goals your program needs to be designed from a fundamental level. That fundament level is that humans were originally meant to move all day long. To move fast, slow, to be agile, to have reflexes, to walk for miles, to sprint, to climb to crawl... The reason so many people are out of shape today is that we simply do not move the way we were originally designed to do so.

Our culture has become extremely sedentary, meaning that we sit down most of the day. Sadly, most fitness programs utilize exercises that allow you to sit down and move in robot like fashions.
